Robeson cutlery was established in 1879, many knives were made by the company. Culinary, folding knives and hunting knives as well. This Shur Edge butcher is from the 1940s and in excellent condition. The carbon steel blade has a classic butcher profile, but the handle really pops using two large brass pins and two small brass pins. There is a small bend in the blade about half way through, but the knife will perform very well in the kitchen. Be sure to hand wash and thoroughly dry carbon steel knives after use.
